ANCEL PB500 Electrical System Circuit Tester Functions:
– Swiftly and accurately diagnose 12 ~24V automotive electrical systems.
– Display battery voltage readings and help users determine circuit polarity immediately after connecting the KM50 clips to the vehicle battery.
– Test DC Voltage, AC Voltage, Frequency, Duty Cycle, Fuel Injection Circuit, Resistance, and Diode. Additionally, in AC Voltage, Frequency, Duty Cycle and Fuel Inject Modes, users can long-press the mode button for 3 seconds to switch between Waveform Display Mode and Digital Display Mode.
– Conduct a positive or negative battery current to the tip by depressing the rocker switch to activate electrical components and test their functions without jumper leads.
– Test bad ground contacts instantly without performing voltage drop tests.
– Help users to follow and locate short circuits without using external fuses.
– Test continuity with the assistance of its auxiliary ground lead.
– The tool is short-circuit protected. If overloaded, its internal circuit breaker will trip to protect the instrument from overload.
– In case the circuit breaker trips, the tool canNOT conduct battery current to the tip even when the rocker switch is pressed. However, all other functions of the tool will still be active, enabling users to probe a circuit and observe the voltage reading.
DC Voltage
While the tool is in this mode, it contacts the probe tip to a circuit, and then the LCD display will read the DC voltage with a resolution of 0.1 volts.
AC Voltage
While the tool is in this mode, it contacts the probe tip to a circuit, and then the LCD reads the Maximum voltage, the Minimum voltage, frequency, and duty cycle.
Resistance
While the tool is in this mode, it contacts the probe tip to a circuit, and then the LCD display will read the resistance between the tip and auxiliary ground lead.
Tone On/ Off
While the tool is in this mode, quickly press the mode button to toggle the tone on or off. If a short high beep is heard while rapidly pressing (a quick press and release) the mode button, the audio tone is turned on. The audio tone is turned off if a short, low beep is heard.
Ancel PB500 Circuit Tester has two power supply methods:
1. Vehicle battery power supply
2. Cigarette lighter power supply
