Foxwell SD201 12V Car Smoke Leak EVAP Kit
Automotive power system leaks can lead to engine misfires, unstable idling, and poor performance. Traditional methods of diagnosing these issues are time-consuming and often ineffective. The Foxwell SD201 revolutionizes the process by providing a fast, accurate, and visual solution for detecting leaks in your vehicle’s pipeline systems.
Whether you’re a professional mechanic or a car enthusiast, the Foxwell SD201 is the ultimate diagnostic tool to keep your vehicle running smoothly. Say goodbye to guesswork and hello to precision with the Foxwell SD201 Smoke Leak Detector!
Precision Leak Detection
Engine fault codes are often linked to pipeline leaks. In fact, 60% of engine fault codes are related to pipeline issues. The Foxwell SD201 helps you pinpoint the exact location of leaks, allowing you to resolve problems quickly and clear fault codes with ease. No more guesswork or time-consuming disassembly!
Visual, All-Around Leak Detection
Thanks to the unique properties of smoke, the SD201 provides visual, omni-directional leak detection across the entire pipeline system. It ensures no dead angles or hidden leaks are missed, offering a comprehensive solution for diagnosing air, EVAP, and vacuum system issues.
Safe and Easy to Use
Unlike traditional methods that require the engine to be running, the Foxwell SD201 operates safely on a static engine. By simulating real-time engine conditions, it detects leaks without the risk of accidents, making it safe for both the user and the vehicle.
Boosts Productivity
The SD201 significantly reduces diagnostic time, enabling faster vehicle maintenance. This not only improves the efficiency of your workshop but also increases the utilization rate of your station, leading to higher productivity and profitability.
Wide Compatibility
The Foxwell SD201 is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, light trucks, heavy-duty trucks, and even speedboats. It’s the ultimate tool for detecting leaks in various pipeline systems.
The Foxwell SD201 uses smoke to detect leaks in your vehicle’s pipeline systems. Here’s how it works:
Prepare the Vehicle
Turn off the ignition and ensure the engine is static. Disassemble the air filter or throttle valve (if required) to access the intake system.
Set Up the Smoke Machine
Connect the SD201 to your vehicle’s 12V battery using the included power cords. Insert the intake adaptor cone or universal adaptor into the test vent.
Generate Smoke
Turn on the device, and within seconds, it will produce thick smoke. Direct the smoke into the pipeline system using the smoke tube and nozzle.
Locate the Leak
As the smoke fills the system, use a flashlight to visually identify the leak points. The smoke will escape from any cracks or holes, making it easy to spot the exact location of the issue.
Complete the Test
Once the leak is detected, disconnect the device, clean the adaptors, and store the components for future use.
The Foxwell SD201 is perfect for diagnosing leaks in the following systems:
EVAP System
Test for leaks in the EVAP system, which is crucial for maintaining fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. The SD201 is compatible with American cars manufactured after 1996 and European cars after 2000.
E-G-R Valve and Carbon Canister
Detect leaks in the EGR valve and carbon canister systems, ensuring optimal engine performance and emission control.
Vacuum and Air Intake Systems
Identify leaks in vacuum lines and air intake systems, which can cause engine misfires, unstable idling, and poor performance.
Quick Smoke Output
The SD201 produces a large amount of smoke within 10 seconds, reducing diagnostic time and improving efficiency.
Easy-to-Use Design
With its hook design, conical adaptor, and airbag adaptor, the SD201 is simple to set up and compatible with most air intake systems.
Intelligent Safety Protection
The SD201 is equipped with overheat and antifreeze protection. If the device temperature exceeds 75°C, it automatically shuts down to ensure safety. It also supports low-temperature operation and is powered by a 12V car battery.
No Built-In Air Pump
Please note that the SD201 requires an external air compressor or air pump (sold separately)
